This album is... different... not 'bad' by any means, but definitely a separate direction from Devil and God. But by Brand New's unpredictability, you never where they're going to go with their next release anyway. Regardless, this is definitely worth a listen... while I may enjoy most tunes on here, I can see many fans questioning why and where they went with this one.

This is the Holocaust of music. An abortion from my speakers. The only good thing I can say about this is, if you like they're last album, you'll probably like this too. I knew it was going to be bad and nothing like they're first 2 albums, but a tiny part of me was hoping that they would listen to thier real fans and make the kind of music that people fell in love with in the first place. If you are a new listener to Brand New and considering checking them out, please buy thier first 2 cds and pretend like you never knew they made 2 cds after that. As far as I'm concerned, they didn't

I read somewhere that Brand New said they'd never make the same album twice. A noble idea, and they've certainly succeeded. The problem is that the first two albums and part of the third were really good. I can't stand this new album. Brand New used to blend heartfelt anger with beautiful songs. Now the anger is gone and has been replaced by noise. The screams are louder but they no longer have meaning. There are a few good mellow bits in Daisy and In a Jar and Noro, interrupted by senseless noise. I think if you took all the emotion out of the previous albums, Daisy is what you get. I loved Jesus and Archers from the last album. I can't find anything I like on this one.
