The Uprising (Colored Vinyl)

(Rise Against, Ignite, Death By Stereo)

Think Fast 39

Released on June 9, 2009

"The Uprising" is the debut effort from punk rock super-group Nations Afire. The Los Angeles, CA based five-piece consists of current and former members of hardcore/punk veterans Rise Against (Chris Chasse, guitar), Ignite (Brett Rasmussen, bass/vocals, Nik Hill, guitar/vocals) and Death By Stereo (Todd Hennig, drums) with Steve Ludwig solidifying the lineup and making his vocal debut. Expect to hear a combination from all of the members' past and present endeavors, as well as a modern twist, which comfortably distinguishes Nations Afire from their counterparts.

i was expecting this to be hardcore turns out theyr quite slow and poppy-ish. saying that ive grown to really like this ep over its constant plays. only bad thing is the vinyl only has 3 songs so get the cd and get the 5 song version. cant wait to hear a full length from these fellas.
