Backstage Passport (Double Disc)

Released on March 17, 2009

See all 8 episodes of the highly acclaimed NOFX docuseries that follows the band to countries where punk rock has rarely gone. Originally broadcast on FUSE in the US and Musique Plus in Canada, this show is now available on a double DVD set with over two hours of bonus footage that was too hot for TV.

A really fascinating journey of a punk band who just wants to play where nobody else does. I started to get the uh-oh feeling when it felt like a "reality" show, but I think NOFX's adventures are the real thing. Anyway, NOFX and their cohorts are very amusing as always, but the overall tone is kind of dark. No matter how shitty things get in the USA, we have it made compared to South America, Asia, and Africa. Every show they played, they got ripped off, and every show they played generally ended up causing a riot, which in turn pissed off the fascist police. Oh, and you also get to see them snort green lines of something in Singapore, and you get to see Fat Mike cry. Bonus!
