Epitaph 87013

Released on January 27, 2009

Raw, confrontational punk rock. An outlet for frustration with the state of the world. Waking the ghosts of bands like Black Flag and Ink & Dagger, founder Frank Iero (guitarist, My Chemical Romance) and crew rip through ten dirty, teeth-gnashing hardcore tracks.

This actually scared me a bit! I'm not usually a fan of this sort of stuff, but I checked it out because yeah, I'm a big My Chemical Romance fan. I loved the demos, and was blown away by the record. It is possibly the most frightening, angry and abrasive album I've ever heard.. and I've heard some fucked up shit.

It's raw, edgy and not for the faint hearted. This record is no walk in the park kids, especially if you're not used to the raging screams and squeals of guitars. If you're looking for a thought-provoking, hardcore record that addresses the craze of society we're all dealing with today, buy this. It'll leave you wanting more.

I have never heard such intensity in any record in my life. True Punk/Hardcore that expresses brutal honesty through horror-style lyrics. I highly recommend you give this record a chance!
