The first word to describe Koffin Kats’ fourth release Drunk in the Daylight should be “relentless”. Over an hour of KK madness is contained on this 17 song opus for the band. And as most of you know, Koffin Kats are not known for dropping any filler material into their albums…so lay any doubts aside, this new record is the pinnacle of the band’s lifespan so far. Be ready for a sharp and venomous offering that will strike a chord with all true punk, psychobilly, and metal fans.

I only have the Straying from the pack CD from these guys to compare with this one and I think the Straying from CD is better. But this one is ok too....

I've always liked the Koffin Kats but this is their best record by far. Faster, louder and harder than their other albums (see song "Loud and Hard"). If you've never heard them, they sound like a pissed off, satanic Elvis Presley fronting Tiger Army if they grew testicles and were high on a crapload of speed. Every song rocks. If you're a punk rock fan and are just getting into Psychobilly this is a good transition album, along with any album by the Gutter Demons. Those guys are the best psychobilly band in the world.
