"There's something about the Briggs' brand of working class punk rock that seems sacred. It's below the surface of their anthemic group sing-alongs, their marching drum beats, and their gritty muted guitar riffs. It's the thought that this kind of music will never be heard on Clear Channel radio or "Total Request Live," yet the passion and ferver with which the Briggs deliver their third full-length is unmatched by any mainstream act today." -Punknews.org

Great album by The Briggs. Has kinda Bouncing Souls East Coast sing along feel to it. Great to pop in the car and roll.

Standard run of the mill "street punk". All of the gang vocals and chants are in the right places. When I saw theses guys live opening for the Street Dogs they were great, this CD just does not have the same intensity as their live show. Its OK, I could have done without spending the money on it.

These guys have turned into one of the best bands of the genre. When they first came out, they were good, but just another generic street punk band from L.A. Since Back to Higher Ground they have become extremely proficient in playing that style of punk. Although, the first 3 songs on this album are not my favorite, the rest of the cd is amazing.
