Re-release of the self-titled second album on which Crowbar once again delivers a solid amount of harsh, gloomy material. Each of the ten tracks found on the album reeks with a muddy New Orleans vibe and crushes the listener with an extremely raw and heavy sound. Crowbar to this day remains one of the bands best and most honored releases. Songs such as Holding Nothing, Existence Is Punishment, I Have Failed and the phenomenal cover version of Led Zeppelins No Quarter showcase the sheer essence of doom-core, conjoining slow and heavy music.
