Kiss Kiss Kill Kill

Hellcat 804981

Released on June 3, 2008

Their third release finds the band perfectly poised between the raw punk energy of their 2004 debut, "Hell Yeah", and the brash, singalong pop of 2006's "Bring It On". While never dropping their trademark sexy, horror flick flair, "Kiss Kiss Kill Kill" brings back the rawness and immediacy that's made them the premier touring band in the scene. They just finished two tours with the Dropkick Murphys and a tour with Danzig, have shared the stage with the likes of Rancid and The Offspring, and have been on several Warped Tour runs. RIYL: Nekromantix, Rev. Horton Heat, Siouxsie And The Banshees, X, Stray Cats, surf, punk, ska, and good ol' rock 'n' roll.

ive owned this cd for a while and can't get enough of it. the vinyl gives is a little extra spookiness as the needle skates across the grooves. the live track is killer - if they could pull a live album off that sounded this good it would do really well since the horrorpops are filling venues right now.

Somewhat disappointed this time, but that's just because their previous recordings were oustanding. Back to a three-piece outfit, you would excpect Horrorpops to return to their more psyocho roots, but it's still good fun. As with most bands - the first is the best. And so on.

Awesome LP. Do yourself a favor and check out the song "Hitchcock Starlett"...amazing! Another great song is called "Heading To The Disco" about stupid ass retro people who think 80's hair metal was cool. Tell 'em Patricia! The inner real concept about an album. Music, Lyrics, artwork and photography! That's how it's done!
