Here I Come Falling

Oh Grave, Where Is Thy Victory

Rise 56

Released on January 8, 2008

HERE I COME FALLING (Springfield, Missouri) have grown up a lot in a short period of time. Driving across the country to record with upstart producer Kris Crummett (dance ga vin dance , Dro p dEad gorgeo us, fear before the march of flames) was just the beginning to their “new full time job”. Immediately after recording they drove 2 days straight to play the main stage of Cornerstone LA along side UnderOath. Not shy about their religious beliefs, they are a self-proclaimed Christian hardcore band, much like their peers As I Lay Dying and Maylene & the Sons of Disaster. The kids will have their way and what they want are HERE I COME FALLING!

I listen to alot of music on Christian labels like Solid State. I enjoy the music regardless of the bands beliefs if its quality music. One of my big turnoffs are bands that have to preach. These guys have an awesome sound but every damn song is about Jesus and Heaven and all that. As long as you dont read the lyrics and dont care what theyre saying its a killer CD...Those lyrics just piss me off. Musically they sound similar to crossing The Devil Wears Prada with Underoath when they were keyboard heavy. I would give this a 4 but I have to drop it to a 3 cause I just cant relate to lyrics like "Im surrounded by these demons. Lord come rescue me. Ill stand and fight with angels by my side"
