Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza

Danza II: The Electric Boogaloo

Metal Blade 146522

Released on October 16, 2007

With a silly band name and even sillier song titles, Tennessee's The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza return with their second full-length of off-time, off-beat technical metal. They employ quirky riffs, frantic drumming, slapping bass and howling vocals to create a beastly sound.

This bands self titled album was a pretty cool cd. They really had some interesting and semi-creative riffs going and the vocals sounded alright. I was very disappointed with this, their second album, however. The whole album just seems very rushed and thrown together. All the songs sort of blend together which is not always a bad thing with a band, but it doesn't work well for this band. And all the ultra-retarded skits of some hillbilly in a dive bar were not funny or interesting in the least. If you like boring hardcore songs all played at the same tempo with little to no variation pick this one up. You'd be wiser to maybe pick up their self titled when it comes down in price.
