Absolutely fucking perfect! I cannot sing enough praise for this band or this record. A definite step-up from the first record, which can be found in the A-F Records webstore. If you've heard that record, you know it would be hard to outdo, but they did it! Stza Crack from Leftover Crack sings and plays guitar on tracks 1,3,6 and 7 and what a match! His voice fits perfect with the energy of this band. Brad Logan also from LoC, and Blacknoise head honcho plays guitar on tracks 6 & 7. So damn catchy! Not to mention a band that actually has something to say in every song. There is no filler, no messing around, just straight up catchy-ass, soci-political punk. Yo, you know what else is cool? Sara, who plays synth & does electronics, also sings on several songs. Shit rips! Such a good thing to hear! If you've heard the female vocals on the new Star Fucking Hipsters and dig it, check this out. The forbidden beat is what really kicks this whole EP off, its there right at the beginning of "The War at Home" so if you are into fast ass skate punk, that is what it starts with and you won't be able to push stop once you hear it. Don't get the impression that its the Intro5pect of yore, with Stza singing instead. Although he is featured on 4 of the 7 songs, and can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned but can only make the song better, you still here Dave's singing and the rest of the band doing back-up vocals. And of course the LoC cover, Nazi White Trash, track 6 is so sick! I mean if you've heard the original version, you will dig this! The transition between songs is seamless! It just goes from one to the next and even if its a different type jam or vibe, you don't notice.

Whole record clocks in at 23:46 and comes with a lyric book. Seems short I guess, but overall is very very worth it. Can't wait for a new full-length from these guys/gal!

Now, if they could just find a new bass player already, and get on tour! In the meantime, get this and crank at maximum volume!!

awesome cd. i love how they stuck with their roots but added some new touches to it. I also love how they got Stza and Ezra involved with the cd as well. A definite must have.

I really like this CD. definitely worth 8 bucks. i wish interpunk had there other cd because i cant find it anywhere. Like the other person said sounds like electronic version of leftover crack. i didnt like how short the cd is and i really didnt like this version of nazi white trash.

The first thing I noticed about this CD was how catchy the songs were. I ordered this thing blind, I've never heard of Intro5pect before. I was a little skeptic on the electronic and punk sound when I ordered it. I love it, they do it perfectly and this is a definently must have if you're a punk rock fan. Some of the songs grow on you, some of them don't, but they're all great songs with great lyrics. They're cover of Leftover Crack's Nazi White Trash is great, also.

The lyrics are in the same vein as Leftover Crack. I wasn't sure about the "electronica" sound to it at first but it grows on ya. Overall really catchy, it's only down side is it's so damn short

Great CD. Better than their other ones. More punk rock and a little less techno this time, but still very unique. Great sound, great lyrics, great message. My only problem with this CD is that it was too short. But I've bought shorter, less satisfying CD's that cost more than this, so it's well worth the price. If you like STZA from Leftover Crack, he does guest vocals on 3 or 4 tracks, including the Leftover Crack cover "Nazi White Trash". It sounds like a remix, but an incredibly well done remix. Incredible CD. If you want to listen to something different, I suggest this CD. If you are a fan of Anti-Flag, The Unseen, Atom & His Package, and Leftover Crack, you will most likely be a fan of this particular album. Again, this album is amazing. I just got it today and I've listened to it about 7 or 8 times already.

This honestly was one of the best cd's i have ever purchased, i am very happy with my decision. It stayed in my cd player for 3 weeks and never got old. I think anyone who would like a little techno with their punk would like it, its unique.

I disagree with the previous post by about 180 degrees. This EP is not a carbon copy of their previous stuff yet still carries that Intro5pect signature of NES midi and buzz saw guitar. The contrast created by Stza's raspy vox overlaying the 9-bit (that's right I said nine!) dance beats gives this 'Realpolitik' a bit of an edge. The Stza/Sara duet on track 7 puts the buttermilk on my bacon. But if you don't like pancakes with your syrup then no worries! Realpolitik platters up plenty for even the pickiest of poppy punker politicos! 'Realpolitik' is an extension of the S/T album, not a sophomore slump. If you dug the old stuff then you'll prolly dig the new stuff. Ya dig?

This is a good album. Not as good as their first one (by a long shot). They seem to have lost some diversity from their first album and added Ezra to sing on most of the (only) 7 songs. It ends up sounding like an electronic Leftover Crack. Meh. I really love the first album and this one, although good, cannot hold a candle to the first album at all. It would have been a complete letdown if it didn't shine in it's own right. I wish they kept the fun and diversity of the first album alive in this effort. 7 songs makes me feel ripped off though. Not even a bonus instrumental. I feel like I have to rate it 3 stars to reflect my palpable dissapointment in the direction they went and the lack of songs. Glorified EP.
