"Oxeneers or The Lion Sleeps When Its Antelope Go Home" is, in many ways, the completion of the promise made with the potential of "This is Meant to Hurt You." The hooks are thicker, the guitars bigger and the songs are a simply stunning culmination of a years hard work and dedication. The album sparkles with a tight, visceral momentum, both angular and infectious this is the record These Arms Are Snakes set out to make, a confident testimonial, a vicious revision, and a true confrontation in every sense of the word.

man this band is INSANE! they're so full of raw energy with vocals that will make you want to dance and drop kick people in the face at the same time. this is the best of their two albums. pick it up.

This is an awesome CD. Very Kill Sadie sounding because it is the same singer. The music also has a Kill Sadie sound but it is recorded better and is a little more straight forward. That may turn some people off but don't let it. It still has an abstract feel to it. If you are a Kill Sadie or a Matt Bayles fan I would deffinately suggest this CD.

This is such a good album. It just has so many different elements, it's kinda like what I'd imagine Blood Brothers to sound like at half speed. The lyrics are clever and imaginative, and although all the instruments are doing different things, they gel together perfectly, the photography in the booklet is really good too. Just buy the damn thing already!!
