Isn't This Supposed To Be Fun?

Epitaph 868792

Released on September 25, 2007

Say hello to Farewell; a group that's on a mission to put the fun back into rock. Ascending from a small town saturated in metal and hardcore, the southern-based sextet set out to carve their own niche with a unique blend of lighthearted power-pop. With their debut album, Isn't This Supposed to Be Fun!? the group aims to give the musical masses something to smile about.

After hearing the first three songs on this album I was pretty much disgusted and I was already thinking of how I was going to get rid of this cd without actually throwing it away. Well luckily it got better. Song 4 was a really solid pop-punk anthem and later on in the album there were a few more legitimate songs. I wish they would put more effort into all their songs though. They have talent, and the backing of a great label, let's hope they learn how to utilize it better in the future.
