Sheer Terror

Drop Dead And Go To Hell

Dead City 6

Released on July 27, 2004

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

When New York hardcore started it was known for its straightedge crews and positive hardcore҆then along came SHEER TERROR and New York would never be the same. With a spit-in-your-face attitude and apathetic pride, Sheer Terror called out to the masses and built up one of the most loyal followings of any hardcore band out there. This band's career spans two decades and has spawned 3 official full length records as well as numerous EPs, 7" records, bootlegs, and re-releases. Recorded at the legendary CBGBs in New York City this CD has it all. As a bonus there is even extra banter at the end from The Rev Paul from various shows throughout the world. This is the first live CD in the bands history.

Tired of PC,Vegan, or posi-core and have listened to your Blood for Blood cd's 'til they were thin enough to see through. Then you should definitely pick up this album. Sheer Terror is the original politically incorrect band. 15 tracks of brutally honest, concussion to the brain NYHC. This cd has all the best including songs off every full length as well as yet another version of The Cure "classic" Boys Don't Cry, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase and showing humor can be fond in the oddest ways. My favorites are all here, Just Can't Hate Enough, Tale of Moran, Rock Bottom on the Kitchen Floor and the classic Cup 'o Joe. For those of you more familiar to the band and more specifically The Rev. Paul Bearer(vocals) and his witty banter there is 5 extra tracks of his callous, don't give a shit because it's fuckin' hysterical , between song repartee. If you take anything too seriously and are overly sensitive to crude remarks don't bother, but if you can take a joke and can understand any other point of view buy Sheer Terror-Drop Dead and Go to Hell now.
