Gogol Bordello has been breaking down musical barriers since 1999 with a supercharged music based on a brutal gypsy two step rhythm that sounds like an Eastern European cousin of ska, augmented by punk, metal, rap, flamenco, roots reggae, Italian spaghetti western twang, dub and other sounds generated by gypsies and rebels from across the globe. "Reggae and gypsy music were created by poor people with nothing to loose.", Hutz explains.

buy this. every song kills, and see this band live, not one, not twice, ..hell, not even thrice, but every chance you get! crazy live show, and on record these guys blow every other band outta the water. top marks go to 'wanderlust king' , 'alcohol', 'american wedding', 'super taranta' it now.

Wow. They have done it again. I don't see how anyone could not like these guys. They have elements from every spectrum. I still love Gypsy Punks, but this one is still amazing. If your are not firmiliar with GB then I would start with Gypsy Punks. Whatever you do get some, your ears will thank you.

Well, its gogol bordello so its sure to be a good album like everything they pull out but Gypsy Punk was better. Some songs in super taranta are not so great but in gypsy punk they are all excellent. The best song of the cd is Wonderlust King but if you are starting with gogol, i would recommend gypsy punk.

One of the best albums I've ever's a nice relief from all the hardcore punk I usually listen to, but it's still got a hardcore "atmosphere" to it...fucking awesome

The sound of Gogol Bordello is incredile. The mix of all the musical genres is well made and is a charm for the ears. Keep on rockin'!!!

This CD is amazing. The style is refreshing and like nothing like I'd ever heard before. The music anything but boring, and it's the kind of stuff that makes me want to get up and actually dance. To anyone who likes loud, energized music featuring an accordion and lots of drums (not to mention a crazy cool lead singer) buy this album. Also buy the band's merchandise, the tshirts are really sweet too. =)
