I was really really really hoping that Despised Icon would follow what some of the other bands in their genre are doing and drop the fucking Bree's already. It's always been whats made me not really like them too much. For the most part you get fast death/tech metal with the occasional breakdown and even the 1st 3:20 of the cd is bree free.....Which got me really exited. However it continues on into the next track which has nothing but dragging out chords over that shitty deep breeing that actually does hurt my ears. Despised Icon are defintely talented musicians and are capable of writing really good songs but Until they drop the bree's i'll never fully enjoy them.
