I actually got this for a friend, but i gave it a listen before i gave it to him. It's not up to the par of Our Bodies Our Selves, but it's still catchy pop goodness.

My favorite MTX album. This is the kind of music that you listen to, to cheer you up when you are down. Its funny, sad and silly at the sametime. It's sad how they influenced a lot of bands but still credited as another generic melodic punk rock band.

great pop punk. these guys are on the infamous lookout records so you know its going to be catchy and fun!!! I like the fact that these guys have basically devoted their song writting to writting about girls but still people should not confuse this with emo. THEY ARENT EMO GET IT!!! FUCKA!!!! ok anyways so yeah if your into the queers, screeching weasel, squritgun, green day, the ramones, etc... buy this.

On the plus side: The lyrics are great, with a lot of convoluted wordplay, and Dr. Frank's delivery more than makes up for his bad singing voice.
On the minus side: The riffs suck something awful. MTX could be great if they just picked up a better tunesmith.

this is pop punk done right. no whinny shit like blink 182 or boring crap like the drive-thru band(what's that? its a label? and there's more than one bands? coulda fooled me) you listen to it and just know this is what the hell pop punk is supposed to be. catchy as hell songs about girls. not overproduced shit. mtx have an edge to them. its about girls but not whinny sappy boring lyrics. dr. frank has a damn fine wit and cleverness to him that, dare i say, is unmatched. mtx are where the shit is at, such a great relief from today's boring pop punk bands.

This is the best MTX album. Even MTX admits it! If you ever go to any of their shows, the majority of the songs they play are from this album. Definitely buy it so you can at least sing along for most of the time when you see them. I listen to this album all the time. The lyrics are the best and the music's great too.

This is a pretty great album from a group of guys that arent new to this by any means. Its a pretty good mix of pop punk with an emphasis on the pop. Good, thoughtful lyrics add to the enjoyment of this one. Go ahead and spend the money on this you'll thank yourself later. Stand out tracks include "Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba", "Thank You (For Not Being One Of Them)", and "I Fell For You". Ive also grown to love the last song "You're The Only One", which for most the song is Dr. Frank and his acoustic guitar.

Love may be dead but Dr. Frank and MTX are alive and kicking with this album. With great punk classics like "Sackcloth and Ashes," "Dumb Little Band" and the immortal "Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba," you'll be spinning this disc round your cd player more times than you can count...and you'll be a better person for it. Songs about girls never sounded so good.
