Fear Before The March Of Flames

The Always Open Mouth

Equal Vision 121

Released on September 19, 2006

FEAR BEFORE THE MARCH OF FLAMES has forged its own path regardless of the current state of music. Drawing inspiration from the intricacies of CONVERGE, the varied time signatures of BOTCH and the temperament of THE BLOOD BROTHERS, they produce a distinctive combination of hardcore, metal and indie rock that is eclectic, fresh and frenetic.

this music is crazy as hell, very diferent from the old stuff. but this new experimental stuff Is amasing and what I dare say to be there best album to date. listen with an open mind and it may very well be your next favorit Jam.

This cd is pretty good, i rarely listen to fear before the march of flames alot, ive listened to a few songs from there past releases, im not really all into them that much, but when my friend told me about this i was amazed to what i heard. I usually have to really like the band alot to buy the cd....well this one is an exception. Although some of the songs sound alike, but thats not always a bad thing. I was blown away by the song "Drowning The Old Hag" its pretty heavy song for this fairly light sounding album. That is probably the best song on this cd. Otherwise they got much lighter in sound since "Art Damage" and "Odd How People Shake". So yeah this is deffinity a must for anyone that likes Fear Before.

This cd is amazing! This band is amazing!

Seriously best cd i have heard all year and probly will ever hear.

This band just knows how to make music and they are very talented.

If you are a fan of expiremental/indie stuff you will most def love this cd.

yes i know this cd is wayy wayy different then "ODD HOW PEOPLE SHAKE" and "ART DAMAGE" but it is wayy good.

I would have to say that it is my favorite.

Give it a chance, if you dont like it at first, re-listen to it and if you still dont like it listen to it again and if you still dont like it then i just dont know what to tell you?

but beleive me, i know you are going to end up liking this album or maybe even loving it?

The Always Open Mouth is one of the best CDs I bought this year. Very experimental in the sound and it reminds me of These Arms Are Snakes with The Blood Brothers, but maybe that's just me. This is a must buy for anyone that remotely likes FBTMOF. If you love them, you'll love them more.

this band always delivers something new every cd... none of them sound the same. this being the more experimental of the three. this has to be one of the best albums to come out in '06. the artwork is awesome (as always). plus theres a surprise with every cd.. an easter egg if you will. overall, awesome cd. 'taking cassandra..' is worth the money alone.
