This is real hardcore at its finest. GB are one of the best sXe bands ever around. If you are into hardcore you need this album. The best songs are New Direction, Degredation, and of course, Start Today.

i never really listened to old hardcore until i got this record, so i dont have much to compare it to. i think this music goes with a certain mood, so i dont listen to it that often. that's why i gave it a 4. but yea, i dont listen to old hardcore at all, so i dont know what to compare this to.

Good old fashioned hardcore, sXe punk rock. GB was the first straight edge band i got into. I'd suggest buying the self-titled before getting this album in order to appreciate how much ass this Cd pulverizes. It makes it all the better. Best songs are definitely start today (sick harmonica solo, two sides and cats and dogs. All the songs from their s/t that are released again on this album still are quite awesome (sitting around at home is the greatest)
