Dirtnap alumni The Epoxies return to their roots long enough to release this 5 song EP, a compilation of their two loooooong out of print Dirtnap 7 inches (the originals of both of which sell for big money on eBay). Die hard fans may recognize this as a home-made, self released CD-R the band has been selling at their shows the last year or so. We thought it was high time to give this a wider release, so here it is! The Epoxies s/t LP/CD on Dirtnap (only the 2nd full length released by the label) was released in Spring 2002 and has sold over 15,000 copies, the highest selling Dirtnap release ever, except for The Exploding Hearts! The Epoxies spent the next few years on the road, their insanely high-energy live show wowing audiences coast to coast, and sparking a new wave mini-revival in the process. (although we've always thought of them more as a new wave influenced punk band) After fielding several offers from major labels, The Epoxies eventually signed with Fat Records, perhaps the biggest indie punk label in existence. Their 2nd album "Stop The Future," was released on Fat in May of 2005 to great acclaim.
