The wait is over. After nearly 3 years of existence the debut full-length from The Cardinal Sin has arrived. "Hurry Up and Wait," the follow up to the
acclaimed "Oil and Water" EP, puts the Minneapolis quartet back on track right where they left off. Captured within ominous lyrics cryptic at times which
in the end leaves a story of destruction, resentment and deception. Fans of Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms and The Replacements will agree that
only death will allow you to leave this album alone.

This is what a good young band sounds like when they have no pressure and no restraints. They write songs and they play them how they want to with as much energy and passion as you are going to find in music these days. A great cd whose sound someone else compared to Alkaline Trio meets the Replacements and that's about as good as I can think of. I hope their success doesn't ruin their sound like it has for so many other bands. It you want to hear something refreshing then give it a try.

this is an amazing album, I have not stopped listening to it since I got it, these guys really write honest, mature songs about the darker side of life we all face sometimes...
