This fourpiece from Germany serves up 100% pure rockin’ power, rollin’ to the wild Punkabilly rhythm, drinkin’ whisky to the
mournful country prison blues & re-igniting the Rock ‘n’ Roll fire to end them all. Bow down to the hotrod racers, the truck stop
wasters, the drive-in crazies, the juke-joint hellraisers. MAD SIN has toured the world with bands such as U.S. BOMBS, SUICIDAL
TENDENCIES, FAITH NO MORE, MISFITS, GWAR, and more.
This record showcases the extraordinary cross-pollinization of rockabilly, punk rock, classic hardcore and a lot of psychobilly,
which quickly became the trademark of the quartet. So dive into the psychobilly hell billy beat of MAD SIN.

Mad Sin. Sick shit. I admit that I picked this up because I read that Lars Frederiksen did some vocals on it. (Its actually spoken word that he does and he says ‘concrete jungle’… “Cash, Culture, and Violence” “Red Hot Moon” or “11th Hour” anyone?) This is in fact true but I was pleasantly surprised with the rest of the record. Tons of melody and sing-a-long opportunities mixed with plenty of “Hey! Hey! Hey!s” and "Woah Woah's" to go around. Hella fast at times and some songs are straight up catchy ass swing jams with maybe even a saxophone or piano! *gasp*!
Tons of catchy songs that will make you wish you had heard of these dudes earlier. Back up vocals are stellar! Many songs starts off with something different whether it be a line from a movie, spoken word, or a sound effect. Production is excellent. There are some songs that have effects on the vocals. Some songs have clean guitar, sounds like steel guitar giving it an almost country feel to it, whereas others are full on distorted power chords with speedy ass drumming. Lyrics are dark and deal somewhat with standard psychobilly stuff (vampires, monsters, coffins) but also deal with stuff such as oral sex (“Generation 69”) and cannibalism (“Cannibal Superstar”).
Now obviously if you are a fan of the American standard Hellcat psychobilly-esque bands such as Tiger Army, Nekromantix, or Horrorpops (Patricia Day sings on “Dead Moon”!) then you will get down with this. I mean c’mon, they’ve been at it for like 20 years and they are from Germany…they gotta be good right?!
Clocks in at 49:22. Comes with lyric book. Dig it. You will be dancing in no time!

this is a great psychobilly album!! mad sin keeps the same sound that they acheived on survival of the sickest. the bass sounds amazing, as usual. the guitar work is awesome, and the lyrics remain humorous nad horror related. my personal favorite song is "not invited".. great album!
