Capitalist Casualties

Capitalist Casualties

Six Weeks 87

Released on June 1, 2004

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

CAPITALIST CASUALTIES, one of the longest running California hardcore punk bands, not to mentionone of the most influential, originally had this discography released on Slap-a-Ham Records in 1996. With the dissolving of Slap-A-Ham, this collection of out of print singles, split singles, split LPs and rare compilation tracks and the cover songs has been out of circulation for quite a while so we at Six Weeks decided it was high time to re-release this monster package. This band has set the standard for extreme, original hardcore during their 17 years of existence and this compilation captures the band during their most productive and creative peak (1991-1996). 74 tracks of mind blowing chaos!

the massive 74 track self titled album is definitly on my "CDs with the most tracks on them and how much time is on the CD" list My introduction with Grindcore started with these guys and I like them but they aren't the best band ever.

this cd is great, has great fast songs (a lot of them), with great lyrics, is a great fusion of crust, grindcore, punk, etc. the only thing i didn't like was the live tracks, `cause the quality decays, but is a great cd

extrememly fast and angry political-ish hardcore. its nothing particularly innovative by any means, but cmon, 74 songs in 73 minutes, how could you go wrong?
