John Connor, a 4-piece electro/indie rock band featuring Jay Snyder, formerly of Hidden In Plain View (Drive Thru Records), started in 2004 in a small town in Northern New Jersey. They quickly created a huge buzz in their home state, rising up over the more established local bands, and building one of the most solid fan bases in NJ. They have sold over 1,500 copies of their self released 5 song demo, and have gone on two east coast/mid west tours, and one extensive national tour. John Connor has already shared the stage with bands like Hello Goodbye, Day At The Fair, Madison, The Receiving End of Sirens, Houston Calls, The Format, Race The Sun, Outsmarting Simon, The Progress, An Angle, Tourmaline, BedLIGHT for BlueEYES, The Honorary Title, Nightmare of You, Chiodos, and My American Heart.

It's hard to fit their music into the typical indie rock box, because there is so much more to their sound than those words can describe. John Connor keeps things interesting with dancy drum beats, intricate bass lines, melodic guitar parts, layered synth/keyboard sounds, and robotic/spacey vocals. John Connor will definitely get you dancing.

Their debut 13 song LP, "Dance Dance Revolution,” released on Negative Progression Records, has something for everyone. It’s got indie, new wave, techno, and powerpop. John Connor is here to breathe a breath of fresh air into the somewhat stagnant underground music industry, and they hope to open a lot of people’s minds along the way.
