This CD sucks. Really I don't get why there is so much hype around the Dead Kennedys. The only thing good I have to say about them is that they have a pretty good guitarist, other than that the lead singer sucks he sings like hes about to get an aneurysm or something and all his songs are pretty much about killing babies ad being crazy. I found it hard to stay interested all the way through the album. The only reason I gave it a 2 instead of a one is because California Uber Allies and Hoiday in Cambodia wer'e actually pretty good, but aside from that this albums crap.

The first DK cd I got, and I gotta say it is one of the finest punk albums of all time. The DVD contains so many kick ass interviews and when JELLO ran for mayor. Fav. track chemical warfare and California uber alles....ahh forget what I said I all of these tracks RULE.
I also have Plastic surgery disasters and I think that cd blows. Honestly it is one of the worst cd's I have.

Great CD/DVD combo! Being from California and in the midst of the best punk scene there was, there were a lot of great bands. Dead Kennedys were among those greats. There's not one bad song on this album, and why would there be? The DVD is great too, good footage. If you're looking for a CD to get acquainted with DK, then pick up this one!

its DK so it must be awesome. the DVD footage is great and gives u a complete history of how the album/band came to be and a couple of early live videos great quality sound and video.
start here if your just getting into DK. simply because Plastic Surgery/In God We.. is better so its best not to listen to their best first and dissappoint yourself by getting somthing that isnt as good. its great just not as good as the other
definatly start here great cover of viva las vegas!

Its cool. The "documentary" is by everyone but jello, so thats useless. The live performances on the dvd are good. I know this wasnt on alternative tentacle so i almost feel dirty owning it, but its a great album, and as hard as i looked....i could not find a vinyl player for my car....damn it, hate buying an album twice

Ive been into Punk Rock for the past 5 years of my life and thought i knew everything about this band. The DVD with this is awasome though ive already seen a couple of the 5 live videos along time ago. Its a great Introduction or Re-Introduction to this band. It sucks that Jello's out of the band now but that time the Dead Kennedys were will live on forever, And I like that they changed the cover a little for the remastered well how the actually wanted it lol.
