Backstabbers Inc.

Kamikaze Missions

Trash Art 7

Released on May 11, 2004

To describe the Backstabbers Inc. sound unilaterally would be impossible, as they cover the gamut from Noisecore, Metal, Hardcore, Thrash, Grind, Punk, and everything in between. Backstabbers Inc. owe much to the classic era of American hardcore, (ie: the nihilism of Black Flag, the righteous anger of Youth Of Today, etc), but they are equally indebted to the crossover/thrash legacy left behind by pioneers DRI (and perfected more recently by bands like Deadguy and Converge). And it shows. Adjectives and thesaurus aside, Backstabbers Inc. are what many other bands try to be. The 'Stabbers, individually and musically, live and breathe with a passion and conviction that many strive to convey, and ultimately fake. No longer willing to be ignored, and no longer content to sit by the sidelines, Backstabbers Inc. have come into their own. The solid foundation driven by core members Ryan McKenney (vocals), Brian Serven (bass), and Matt Serven (guitar), has been fleshed out by the talents of Mike Justian (drums) and Brian Izzi (guitar), known for their work in The Red Chord, Unearth, and December Wolves. That said, Kamikaze Missions is an incendiary testament to what aggressive music should be; uncompromising, confrontational, and sonically explosive. No shadow of a doubt will remain, BSI are a force to be reckoned with. Kamikaze Missions was produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Cave-In, American Nightmare, The Hope Conspiracy).

Fucking incredible... thrash at it's finest. Loud, incoherent, vulgar. I love it. Especially the track "Vorhees, Krueger, Myers, and Bush".. an ode to the biggest douche bag on the planet, George W. Bush....

this one's a ghost tale, so you can turn and tell him of your fight to death.. and he'll grin, and he'll nod, and he'll say he understands. this fortunate son, you fortunate son. we should all be so lucky to be patted on the ass every time we lie, cheat and steal from the peons. your silver spoon must have given you the idea of playing father figure, fucking santa claus. because i remember the time you gave me and the rest of your nation's children hush money in the amount of $300. we were supposed to call it even, shrug our shoulders and give up on anything better. i'm sure you want me to think of this every time i see your spoiled, ugly face plastered on every propaganda machine you can bribe. this bastard signed us off with "goodnight and god bless". you fucking fortunate son, is this what you asked for? is this what you wanted? there aren't enough holes in the ground to bury the lives you've wrecked.
