A fun cd. Fast tempo fun music. There is alot of music out like this but these guys have a solid album and i enjoyed all the songs. The only problem i have is the cd is too short but it was still worth it.

Fuck yeah! I seriously applaud Fat Wreck for signing these three gals and one guy to their record label. The Soviettes are one of the best bands you'll ever hear. Their songs are so fast fun and powerfully energetic... there's no way you can tell me they don't rock. LP III so far has been their best effort out of the three full lengths albums they put out. They seriously get better with each album which is astounding since they've kicked ass from the very start. Since their first LP they've been putting out a new album each year, so kudos to them for working so hard.
I'm serious when I say this, this album is a great listen from start to finish, with the first eight songs being the best. My absolute favorites are Multiply and Divide, (Do) The Stagger, and Middle Of The Night. Those songs are more addictive than heroin but without the harmful side effect... but hey everything else on here is just as good. If you can't find any enjoyment out of this album or of The Soviettes in general, then you might not be a living breathing human being. So do yourself a favor and buy this, then LP II and LP, and make sure to see them live because you'll have a blast. Enjoy!

I love the Soviettes, this CD picks up right where II left off, melodic, hard edged punk rock. Fabulous. I really suggest seeing these guys (and gals) live if you get the chance too!!

These guys (women and one guy) really rock it! I guess the easiest description of The Soviettes would be a punk rock B-52s (first few albums, not love shack era). All the songs are dance hits. I was worried that they would have lost some of their momentum having put out a new album every year for the past three, but they haven't! My neighbors hate me now, since I play most of the songs multiple times while listening to this album. Get it, you won't regret it. DO THE STAGGER!

One of the best albums of 2005 so far. What a year for Fat Wreck Chords! New releases from The Epoxies, Chixdiggit, No Use For A Name and still more to come. As for this band, they're simply great. I love this old throw back style on punk rock. The Soviettes are one of the few bands (along with the Briefs & Epoxies) that came out of the 2000's and didn't suck. Great band, great style! You will love this album. Get this CD then go pogo until you can't feel your legs anymore!
