Mercury Switch has defined a new evolution in metal with their sophomore follow up to "if you love me you'd take me to the city" pumping life back into a weakened metalcore scene. The dynamics on this album pay homage to all who have come before with bouts of guttural and raging vocals polished off with singing ranging from king diamond to the deftones and even a little incubus thrown in for good measure.

The majority of this cd is really good. Its all around hardcore, many parts are rock 'n' roll sounding like Every Time I Die and other times its metal. The only downside to this cd is that there are a few instrumental songs between each songs. it gets a 4 for that.
