This is a very good album all around. The guitars are epic and amazing, the vocals really tight. Although Secret Lives is more of an upbeat band, there are a good number of songs about the pain of lost love and failed relationships as well. The screaming is good, but there can be times when it gets a little annoying, mainly because the gutairs can sometimes get stuck in horrible chugging ruts, playing the same two or three chords over and over, and it would be hard for any vocalist to make those parts enjoyable. Overall, any fan of emo/screamo music should love this CD.

PURE GARBAGE!! This is lame. Don't bother buying it. It is like snapcase meets good charlotte. Goofy "roaring" and then poppy punkish/emo vocals make this a negative. Song number three is okay...the rest is pure garbage. I plan on selling it to some unsuspecting capitalist.

secret lives hands down puts on one of the best live shows I've ever seen.although they dont scream or sound hardcore really on the cd.its more screamo but it's still worth picking up.

this cd is absolutely amazing! the songs are all equally diverse as well as the little "dance" interludes. this records sucks you in, holds you tight and doesnt let you go until the very end.

BUY THIS!

When I first heard this CD it was much better than I expected it to be. It's the typical emo/screamo stuff, but their do it just better than most of the other bands around. Highly recommended!

I Was surprized with this one, i tought these guys would just be another cry baby emo band, and yeah they are ish...but they do it well with a sense of humour(song titles) screaming and great vocals, dont buy the new tbs record, buy this

Really good cd. I'm usually into metal and shit but this band is way too raw to pass up i guess. They did some stuff better on "the cut and thrust of clear thinking", like certain parts they sing better, but overall they did those songs better on here, plus a few better ones like tracks two and three.

This has to be one of the best and original cds that I've picked up in a long time, and gives me new hope for the whole post-hardcore genre. It delivers from beginning to end, and I just gotta say I cant wait to hear more from them. Now if only they would come to Canada...

This CD is one I simply can't take out of my cd player. Listen after listen I am still impressed from start to finish. First of all the lyrics are about relationships and heartbreak which is something I can relate to. Secondly, just like the title says, you can't help but dance your ass off to this one. This album is packs a punch with its intensity and raw emotion, and it will make you shake your booty. Granted, its a combination of sounds we all havn't heard before but as long as it's done properly, who cares!
