Ottawa's Riptides are ready to get serious. This newest full length was recorded by Mass Giorgini at Sonic Iguana (Rise Against, Anti-Flag, Screeching Weasel, etc.), and he has 'em sounding better than ever. These Canucks are dialed in, and they even got Joe Queer to show up and sing lead vocals on the song "China Doll". The finest in Canadian punk rock, gabba gabba eh!

Well, it took me a while to hear about this band considering i just got the CD and it was released in 2006..... after listening to the album for the first time i realized i wasn't missing much. I'm far from a professional music critic but i know what i like and what i don't and this album is a huge disappointment. Nothing exciting or interesting about it. Bland boring songs. I don't think this is even worthy to upload into my ipod. It would be a slap in the face to all the good punk bands I already have in it.
