Against All Authority were the first real live band I ever went to see, so they will always hold a special place in my heart. This is a great release for both bands. I prefer the ska punk of AAA more than Common Rider, but I still think CR are pretty good.

This was ok. Jesse Michaels can do no wrong. Common Rider was a great band, but you can kind of see why they left a few of the songs off of "This Is Unity Music" Where The Waves Are The Highest has to be the best song from them on the split. AAA was pretty good too, but i wouldn't go out of my way to buy a full length from them. Sorry guys. -Jared

I haven't really listened to the AAA tracks, but the Common Rider songs are more of the same ... catchy as hell. Sure wish they'd re-group or that Jesse would at least put something out.

this is a really good split, hopefully you already lisetn to both of these artists though because they are really differant from each other
the against all authority is just really loud and fast and intense, its great and straight to the point
and common rider, make sure you get common riders other two cds before this, but dogtown and where the waves are highest are two really great songs

This was a really solid record. I thought the new AAA stuff sounded really good, the common rider stuff could of been better but what can you expect from B-sides?

I bought this cd for the common rider songs, and i just have to say that they are fantastic. Blue spark is my personal favorite, but the others are not lacking. Its a shame they are not together anymore, they had something good. Better than any crap on the airwaves today

Two great bands, on one fucking awesome split. I was not disappointed with either bands on this cd, it was very well worth the money. AAA is great as always (even though the only horns they use is on World Dominator, my favorite on the CD) and so is Common Rider (the best being "where the waves are highest"). So if your a fan of punk, ska, skapunk, or whatever you want to call it, buy this now.

This CD is fairly good. I expected a lot more out of AAA, and was surprised to find that I liked the Common Rider tracks a lot more than I expected. I still can't wait for AAA's new full length. The best song on here by AAA would have to be WORLD DOMINATOR, While Common Rider's best would probably be BLUE SPARK.

This is an amazing split. Common Rider and Against All Authority are 2 amazing bands that people should check out, even though CR isn't around anymore. First with AAA, they bring that heavy, sketchy, punk/ska approach and if you are into music like slapstick you will really enjoy this. Now with CR, its a Jesse Michaels' project so of course it was gonna be good. Their tracks included songs that didn't make it onto This Is Unity Music, with one of the tracks being from HDTY Vol. 5. Overall this is an amazing split CD and probably one of the best out there. I suggest anyone who is a fan of these bands, bands like them, or you just wanna try something new, check this split CD out. You wont regret it.

The cover art is kinda ooglay, but hey, it's about the tunes! And the tunes are great! I loved AAA right from the get go, but their appeal lessened with each release, straying from the melody and charging to the hardcore. AAA's 4 tracks on this split kinda take a turn in sound back to their early days. As for the Common Rider songs, man o man, how did these 4 tracks get deamed 'outtakes' from their last album?! I think if these 4 tracks were on their last album they'd be 4 of the 5 best songs on the cd!!
