Released in 1995 during the zenith of the punk rock explosion, "About Time" extends and refines the So Cal melodic hardcore sound with mastery. The twelve inspired and inspiring tracks include themes of positivity and hope ("Every Single Day", "Try") and songs of scathing social commentary ("Perfect People", "Same Old Story"). This is the final record to contain the invaluable musical and spiritual contributions of the late Jason Thirsk, founding member, beloved bandmate, and friend.

If your a true believer in the fact that if you have one Pennywise album, you have them all you're wrong. Given, they all sound similar but that doesn't mean you don't need this one. This originally came out in June of 1995 before it was re-mastered and re-released in 2005 with Full Circle, Pennywise (S/T), and Unknown Road. Seeing as I never heard this record before it was re-released I don't know how the first copy sounded. But this one, sounds real good. Real good. A bunch of these songs are featured on the live Pennywise album, "Live at the Key Club" which came out 4 years after this album was originally released. So if you've got that record you've heard 1/4 of this record already. These songs include: Peaceful Day, Perfect People, and Same Old Story. Jason Matthew Thirsk was still in the band when this was recorded and it was the last record he was on before taking his own life. Comes complete with lyric book.
