I don't really like this one as much as Dear You or 24 Hour... I think it's because this is just more punk and dirty, and i just really like how they've evolved. It is not bad at all, though. Want and Seethruskin are sweet songs, i just can't listen to all of it at once. I really need Bivouac. But if you like early 90's bay area punk bands, i'm sure this is for you. if you don't already have it.

ive been a big jawbreaker fan for a couple of years now and ever since i bought "biovac" at a local record store, ive been hooked. this band is just absolutly fucking amazing. this album is full of great lyrics, song structure, and bad ass vox. definitly recomended for lovers of old skool pop-punk and just plain old pop punk. if you are new to jawbreaker, i suggest "24 hour revenge therapy" first just because it mixes the greatness of the old sound with their sound they came out with on "dear you". all in all this is a great cd and it comes with 3 songs that were featured on the "whack and blight ep" that are god damn awesome. lets just say you cant go wrong with any jawbreaker cd purchase at all.

This was my first Jawbreaker cd, and like many of the people who buy this its because of all the great abnds you liek that are influenced by these guys. This cd is very good, tracks 1-7, the other tracks could use soem work. I bought dear you,and noticed that the singe rhas a much mroe gruff avoice and a more brendan elly esque way fo singing, and thus th=this cd is great. I'd say buy htis, but expect somethign far different form the new jawbreaker. This cd hjas great punk, not too fast but has a great sond either way.

good n rAW! i.e. Jawbreaker at their finest here. i know its their debut full length, but i just love the raw gritty vocals of shwarzenbach...very effective and powerful. the songs are catchy, punky, and fun. aside from their collection of rarities-"etc", this release and bivouac are my favorite jawbreaker releases. check it out yo!

Not bad. This is Jawbreaker's worst CD if you ask me. The first 5 songs are great and then it goes downhill big time. After the beginning of the CD the rest of it just comes off sounding lame. 'Want' is one of my favorite songs. What the hell is up with that last song 'Eye-5'? The words are just fucked up.

This is Jawbreaker's first album, so it is a little rough around the edges, but is still quality. Not quite as ambitious as their next album(Bivouc). Any fan of Jawbreaker should still have it. Someone who is just getting into them would probably get 24 Hour Revenge Therapy or Dear You first. This is gritty, melodic punk rock. The first songs are great, it lags toward the end but is good nonetheless.

I got this to see what the fuss was about. Now I know. This is so good. It's like emo, and yet it doesn't suck, like emo does. I guess it's because they don't sound like they're whining.

good record from jawbreaker. a little tougher than their later stuff, but still very very good. its what you'd expect, emotional lyrics, catchy punk, and a great overall sound. very good output from a very influential band that still doesn't get the cred they deserve.

I bought this because I heard so much about Jawbreaker and thought I might have missed something. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. This is okay, but seems to be a bit too sophisticated for me. Sorry.
