A really great album. If you haven't heard this from me, then you have heard it from someone else. The songs are so well done that if you just heard it once you would have to hear it again. A really great album.

Needless to say, this record is just surrounded by hype on all sides. It must have made at least 10 "Best Albums" lists. Who could resist? Unfortunately, the band didn't manage to muster up the same sort of energy that they had on the VAYA Ep for their last full length. You would think that a release like this would be superb, but no. The songs are very jarring, filled with distortion and space noises, and only a couple of tracks actually stand out. Add to that the disappointing studio outtakes appended to the end of the record, and whatever energy the might have conserved with the original cut is blown off. It's not totally unlistenable, and has leagues more intelligence than most corporate-produced modern rock. But this record is hardly worth the hype, and definitely not the price.

Booooooooooring. I heard everyone saying how great this album was and I thought i'd try it out. It's hard to make it throught the whole album without falling asleep. Sure they're 'original', but thatg doesn't make them good.

Ah, at last. After having my old copy stolen, I have it again, only this time it's a re-issue. Pretty awesome I say. The 5 stars speak for themselves - it's an amazing CD and this band will always remain one of the best!
