Pittsburgh, PA's Zombi
create boundless, leering soundscapes inspired by
filmmakers such as Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci
and the musical scores of John Carpenter and
Goblin. Zombi's Relapse Records/Release
Entertainment debut ‘Cosmos’ is a powerful work of
eerie, relentless rhythms and futuristic score
that shares as much headspace with the late-night
sci-fi explorer as the space rock adventurer. For
fans of Goblin, Acid Mothers Temple, Hawkwind,
Halloween and vidnaObmana.

I saw this band with Dillinger Escape Plan not too long ago. I wasn't too into their style of music, but they put on a great show. Shortly after I decided to give their cd a listen and here I am. Theres a huge noticeable Goblin influence in their music, which I greatly enjoy. They sound like if John Carpenter and Eddie Van Halen started a prog rock band, pretty goddamn creepy.
