A killer fucking album if you're into the low, growling vocal style grindcore. Reminds me an awful lot of early Napalm Death (especially songs like "Feasts of War")- blazing drums, deep and heavy guitars and some very metal riffs. From a lyrical standpoint, the album is probably more for crusties and punks than metalheads - dealing with issues like war, worker exploitation, religious control over the state, and the suppression of knowledge by those in power....if you like it loud, fast, and meaningful - pick this album up for sure.

Grindin'... this release is a raging grind/death fest of 27 tracks. Assuck is complete ferocious and know how to play their instruments to the fastest of their abilities. I totally reccommend you pick this up.

Although I am not a big grind fan, this album really caught my attention. The lyrics are more punk than most bands claim to be. If you like poltically charged music, this is for you. A blitzkrieg assault of fast riffs, pummeling drums, and one hell of a hoarse voice.

Assuck is one of those bands you kind of have to get used to. My initial reaction was, "Wow, this music is fucking awesome...if only the vocals were better." But the more I listen to it, I'm starting to dig the singing. It's really monotone, but it kind of fits with the music. Actually, I'm not sure if any other type of vocals would work. The music is straight up metal though, which I love.
