T-Virus

How does a computer-salesman, one janitor, and three welders from Sweden start a band?

To keep it short in October/November 2002 the five of us started to play gothic metal under the name of MOK (My Own Kingdom) with Marcus and Micke on the guitar, Daniel on bass, Seppo on Drums and Patrick just stuck to the vocals, but when the idea of synthesizers came up, Marcus took over the part leaving only Micke on the guitar. In July 2003 we decided to keep the music simple to go back to the basics of punk/rock‘n’roll, but still use Marcus on the synthesizers in that kind of music. Patrick not only stuck to the vocals this time, but began playing lead guitar , and Seppo started to sing backup from behind the drums. With the new sound a whole different band was formed, so we decided to change our name, we had already changed everything else so why keep the old one? As for the lyrics Patrick is influenced by old horror/zombie movies about the living dead, psycho killers and death etc. Some of us are also huge fans of the Resident evil videogames, from which we have our name T-virus (the virus that turns people into zombies).
