Another Round Of Telly DVD

I think that dvd's with music videos are pretty fun for the most part. This seems a bit overpriced to me, given the fact that I only like a few of the bands. The videos for LTJ, Bosstones, Jesse James, Planet Smashers and Subb were fun but the rest weren't up to much. I also find that I'm not very likely to watch these sorts of dvd's on a regular basis, but if you are and you like the bands featured, pick this up.

Live At The House Of Blues - The Show Must Go Off!! DVD

This dvd was neither bad nor fantastic. It was pretty entertaining and I liked the commentary with Scott and Aaron but it got old really fast. The songs they performed were good, but as a whole the show was too long. If you consider yourself a die-hard fan of RBF with a childish sense of humor (not to mention an extremely long attention span) then you'll probably get a kick out of this.

Big D And The Kids Table/Drexel
Shot By Lammi CD

In spite of the poor recording quality of this cd, it's really not too bad. Of the Big D tracks, "In Front Of Me", "Draw The Line", "What?" and "Conserve", which are by far the most fun and bouncy, will make you want to get up and dance.

Drexel seems to be another one of your run-of-the-mill pop-punk bands with a few catchy tracks such as "Praise On Them", "You Wanted It" and "Promises". They're worth a listen.

Forty Hour Train Back To Penn CD

This cd gets 4 stars because, although it's good, it's more rocky than the other albums. "Face Or Knee Caps" is probably the best track, but there are also a few songs that aren't too spectacular such as "It's Something" and "Keep Never Changing". The songwriting is top notch, and any lack of catchy tunes is more than made up for by Vinnie's killer vocals.

Overall, it's a great cd!
