Kid Dynamite - Shorter, Faster, Louder
On their second full-length, aptly titled Shorter, Faster, Louder, KID DYNAMITE once again proves that they are one of the most exhilarating bands around today. Produced by Steve Evetts (SNAPCASE, SAVES THE DAY, DEADGUY) at New Jersey's Trax East Studios, Shorter, Faster, Louder is rooted in an affinity for early '80s hardcore that's both straightforward and powerful, yet it is one of modern hardcore's most progressively realized works.

Oh my God, this is good! Probably some of the best hardcore punk ever recorded onto a CD. Catchy, fast songs with great lyrics. This is a must have.

oh my god oh my god oh my ass, kid dynamite is awesome. they play icredible, high energy, yet melodic hardcore. their vocalist is simply amazing... go get this cd if you like good punk or hardcore, you won't be dissapointed unless you're one of those kids who only like clean skate punk... but hey, this is so good you'll like it anyway. get their other cd too.

| This cd is insanely good. i can't tell you how great the feeling is to hear good old punk rock, not some goddamn emo shit whining about some girl. jesus christ, as the THE BUSINESS used to say "smash the discos" we need to smash the emo kids. fans of rancid, minor threat, unseen, anti flag, and other great street punk bands will love this cd. listen to "rufus needs a hug" and you'll understand

this cd's fuckin awesome, fast paced, hard as hell and catchy, it's great and it's not one of them cd's you have to listen to a few times to start to like, right away you know it's one of the few.

The final release from this Philly band, and just like the title says, this is Kid Dynamites fastest and loudest to date. Keeping with the short and fast songs from previous realases, they add more choruses for a much catchier feel. I saw these guys in a basement show in NJ and just seeing the energy that they play with is unreal. Featuring ex-members of Lifetime and Ink & Dagger you know they gotta be good. Definitely an album for fans of any type of melodic punk hardcore mix. A must have!

This is just an amazing send off for Kid Dynamite, one of the finest hardcore punk rock bands of the last decade. Even though they were only together for a few short years their impact will be felt in the scene for quite some time. This cd flat out rocks me all over, from the opening boom of "Pits and Poisoned Apples" to the final screams of "Give 'Em the Ripped One". This album fits it's title quite well, it's less than a half an hour long and it blasts straight through 18 intense sing along anthems. Song topics range from how much work sucks, to crooked politicians, to over 21 shows, and "SOS" is a song about how it's hard to maintain a relationship while being on the road. The cover of Token Entry's "Birthday" is awesome as well, and it's damn cool that Ernie joined in in the vocal duties. Another great song is "Three's A Party" which features Allison from Fast Times and Andy from Kill Your Idols helping out on vocals. If you're a fan of fast, loud, and aggressive hardcore punk rock that you can scream along to with pride, this is a perfect cd to add to your collection.
