| a classic album and should be checked out by all who listen to punk or hardcore (not hardcore like thrice, REAL hardcore.) i'm not a fan of reggae, so the songs of that style on this album don't appeal much to me, but they are well done, so if you do like reggae, you should like these songs. the rest of the album is great. hard, fast, great riffs and H.R.'s vocals are amazing. get this and shove it in all those good charlotte and simple plan kids' faces! |

| This is the classic Bad Brains release. This album is mostly thrashy hardcore/punk but there's a few reggae songs in there as well. One of the best hardcore/punk bands of all time. |

| I always tend to download a few songs on an album before I buy it, and this cd was no different. But, it turns out that almost all of the songs that I downloaded (about 5-7) sounded different than the ones I downloaded. The ones on here are more raw and fast. I was surprised, but in a good way. This record is one of the most raw, fast records with a few reggae songs in thrown in. Jah Calling is a very relaxing song, and Leaving Babylon is the best reggae song on the album in my opinion. I Love, I Jah is a tad too long for my taste (over 6:00) and doesn't seem to be up to the standards of the others.
Now, for the rest of the album. Banned In DC, not much you can say about it except brilliant. It's my favorite song on the album. Other great songs are Sailing On, Pay To Cum, Supertouch/Shitfit, and all others. Pick this one up if you're into punk and/or reggae. Now, I must download a few songs for Rock For Light. |

Brings out the skank in jesus even im sure while still stayin hardcore for all you satans out their (im just jokin nigz) its really fun to listen to its like really short fast old school punk then really slow long reggae...its so groovy and rockin and hyper soundin...best songs are " im sailin" "Pay to cum" "Banned In D.C." "I love I JAH" (sUBLIME COVER IT AMAZINGLY) and "Fearless Vampire Killers" (im sure they dont want to kill that damned vampire Dave Vanian, he rules)...blah blah blah listen to the cd please!!! |

| Bad Brains-What an influential band. You should deffinately buy this. It has very fast guitar and singing, along with some reggae songs. I think this album is solid. "So I'm sailing, so I'm sailing on..." -Justin |
