| I abosolutely LOVE this album. Its PUNK ROCK the way PUNK ROCK should be done!! I am not straight edge(I am smoking a cigarette while write this review)but that is irrelevent, I mean I know that they started all of that and I respect that, but i know people who seem to think that you shouldnt listen to Minor threat unless you are sXe. But that couldnt be any farther from the truth. I mean this cd is the COMPLETE DISCOGRAPHY and(correct me if I am wrong)there are only 3 songs(that i recall) that are about being straight edge. There is so much going on with these guys. Very intelligent lyrics. I love their politics and philosophies. But above all, the music is just ass kicking punk rock! You cant sit still and listen to it. If you dont own this album you need to pick it up ASAP!! |

| Minor Threat makes music as as kinetic, visceral, and angry as any I've ever heard. Ian's vocals drive out sociopolital rants in what sound more like epic revenge on every hypocrisy he's ever witnessed than simple songs. On this disc, punk changes from 3-minute, 4-chord nihilism to a set of 2 minute Kamikaze assaults on everything from white guilt to willful drug-induced numbness. This discography serves as a jarring reminder of how much music can matter in the face of apathy, its message of raging hope is as relevant now as it was more than 20 years ago. This is a desert island punk CD every bit as vital as "Never Mind the Bollocks...". |

| There isn't much that i can say that hasn't been said already but if you want some good early 80's AMerican Hardcore, this is it. All of Minor Threat's recorded work is here. Definitely in your face, definitely intense, definitely worth the money. |

| I didn't know if I should've gave it a 4 or a 5.It's real good, but some of the songs sound the same, but I think this is a definate must buy.Ummm...since this is a sXe band I think I should say something to some of the more close-minded sXe kids...STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!!!sXe is supposed to be personal, not a movement.Same goes for religeon. You should'nt kick my ass, just because i make different choices than you. |

| I really, really, really like this album. I can't say exactly what I like about it, but it has this intangible greatness to it. The lyrics are probably a major factor.
Just buy it. If you're an sXe kid, you're legally obligated to do so. If not, buy it because you'll like it. BUY IT! |
