Every once and a while a band comes along that pushes the boundaries of the scene and creates a new sound that leaves everyone in awe. COHEED AND CAMBRIA is one of those bands. Just a year ago the band was touted as New York's bestkept musical secret. Now, as they are about to unveil one of the most anticipated albums of 2003, the world has taken notice.

In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth:3 resumes where the last album finished. The new album is filled with complex arrangements, haunting vocals and dark imagery that will leave fans in awe once again. After the scene gets exposed to In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth:3 it will be hard to remember a time when COHEED AND CAMBRIA wasn't a household name. On CD or double LP!

Ce cd est une bombe ! excellent très harmonieux (à l'exception de deux chansons) + de 70min de musique. C'est du emopunk qui devient parfois plus complexe que du punk et peut-être meilleur ...

Great album! These guys are brilliant musicians and the singer has got a very amazing voice... This is for people who want something a bit different in the vein of the alt/pop-punk/punk/emo/arty sort of genre... Really really inspiring that bands can make this type of music. This is not only great music, but it's great art!

At first I thought 'Coheed have lost that special enegery they had on second stage, oh well' but give this one a couple of listens and you will be dancing around screaming your head off. This is one of the greatest album's ever in my eyes. Song like 'in keeping secrets..' and 'the crowning' just make this album worth spending the money on. It is alot more poppy than their previous, but that is not a band thing, as it makes this album have alot of variation and it's always worth a listen. Lets just hope their next effort will be up to par with this.

This CD was fucking genius. I have had it since it came out, which is about year I guess and I still haven't gotten tired of it. The best track by far is the title track (#2). I have seen Coheed live 3 times so far and I am going to see them in a couple weeks for the 4th time and I can't wait because they get better every time. Although "Delirium Trigger" was a great track along with a few more on "Second Stage Turbine Blade", this CD surpasses the first by far. Some of the tracks get a little boring, but I still give it 5 stars.

9/19/2004 by Jonathan from Ringwood, NJ Rating:
Coheed is one of the best emo/hardcore bands out there, and this cd just proves that. Though I like the first CD better, this one had greater production and lyrical content. A musical masterpiece that no one should be without.

ok i absulutly loved the first coheed album....but this completely exceeded every expectation i had. every time i play it i get shivers down my spine, and i realize what a great band this is. for hardocre and emo people alike, you should all agree that COHEED is a freakin' amazing band for producing this album. production and sound quality and musical genius.....this album has IT ALL!!!!

i've actually had this album for ages now, but just decided to review it now, because i'm listening to it for the umpteenth time and still trying to work out what all the fuss is about. yes, it's a good CD, yes, they're an original band, but i wouldn't go crazy over them. i don't know, this CD is just lacking something for me. i loved SSTB, and naturally assumed that there'd be a musical progression on this album but i constantly find myself bored by its repetitivness. take, for example, the second track. it pretty much stays the same for 8 minutes, except for a little interlude where a choir comes in. i don't know, i guess i just wanted more from this album, like some more riffing or something. don't get me wrong, it's a solid album, and you should buy it (especially if you're a sci fi nerd, as i suspect 90% of coheed's fanbase are), but i guess i just expected a little too much. best song = 2113 (a reference to Rush's classic 2112, in case you didn't already know).

5/4/2004 by Chris from Sterling Heights, MI Rating:
this is truely a piece of art. my god what a great cd this is. Everyone has pretty much said everything great there is to be said about this cd. Amazing, that is all that comes to mind when i think of this cd. If you have never heard co&ca before though i would reccomend SSTB but i think this might even be a little better. incredible.
