Members of The Lawrence Arms and Alkaline Trio reunited for a proper full length! Yep, The Falcon is back and these aren't throw-away songs from their other bands. No ma'am, these tunes have been percolating for the last two years and they are truly a departure from what you've heard before. There's everything from Clash-esque ska to balls-out rock reminiscient of Guns N' Roses. And unlike the EP where everything was tracked in their bedrooms and kitchens, they actually used a real studio this time! Genuine professionals. Fans of Midwest punk have waited two years for more songs from The Falcon, and "Unicornography" has landed!

This is one of those side projects that sounds way too similar to the guys main band (such as Tool and A Perfect Circle)...This sounds like The Lawrence Arms. Ive always liked the The Lawrence Arms songs Brendan sings the most so this is like a really good The Lawrence Arms CD. The guys got one of the best voices in music. Id love to hear him do some really intense hardcore. I dont like the skaish beats on some of the songs though. This reminds me of the stuff I listened to back in high school like The Riverdales and The Queers and The Nobodys. I just got the older For Science CD a few weeks ago and both of these are total throwbacks and take me back to better times. If you like The Lawrence Arms then youll love this

8/18/2007 by Joel from Muncie, IN Rating:
this album is just as funny as it is rockin'... Great lyrics and really original sounding songs... I would recommend this to anyone who likes the D4... Go check em' both out at The Fest 6 this year....

8/10/2007 by Travis from Kamloops, BC Canada Rating:
If you like the lawrence arms harder stuff, than this is for you. Brendan is dominant on this album and his distinct voice gives it that lawrence arms feel. Best songs are lay z boy 500 and blackout. sometimes his voice annoyes me after a while, but its a solid album.

6/17/2007 by Mary from Wadsworth, OH Rating:
lemme just say if you expect this to be the most amazing music you will ever hear in your life.... you will be disapointed, but if yer expectations are lower cuz of all the reviews you read you will realize that this cd actually fuckin rocks, the 2 tracks they recorded again really dont add or take away much from the original versions and every thing else is really good... just might need a listen or 2 to completely warm up to it.

5/10/2007 by Joey from Riverview, NB Canada Rating:
This is one of Brendan Kellys (Lawrence Arms) side projects which is not accoustic and dare I say better than the Lawrence Arms? Its just really really good. Got some Skaish riffs in a few songs I duno Just get it.

(This review sucked but the album was good)

2/21/2007 by Rusty from Farmersville, TX Rating:
this record is amazing...i'm only giving it a four because i preferred "god don't make no trash..." standout tracks are angry cry, la-z-boy, and unicorn...few things to be aware of...

much unlike the first falcon release, this one is well-produced...not shiny/happy/poppy sounding, just produced...

brendan and danny singing together?...indeed.

very enjoyable album...i find myself skipping "routes we wander" because it doesn't have the gritty charm of the first version...however, i think "more perfect asshole parade" has a little more kick than the original.

long review short...buy this album if you like anything brendan kelly related.

2/12/2007 by Matt from Pittsburgh, PA Rating:
So if you're looking at this record chances are you are going to buy it simply because of Dan and Brendan. If you are not in this camp, and you are not aware of The Larry Arms and/or Alkaline Trio then hold up. Buy Apathy and Exhaustion and Goddamnit, and listen to them. Both of those records are better than this. However, if you are familiar with any of that stuff, then chances are you'll like this too. Is it amazing? Not really. Is it lots of fun and worth your time? Sure. Good music from some great Chicago kids.

12/5/2006 by Stephen from Ruther Glen, VA Rating:
This is one my favorite albums of the year. Brendan is my favorite singer for Lawrence Arms. Little Triggers is my favorite song. A very fast and short cd. I think I like Oh Calcutta! a little bit better but this isn't too far behind.

11/8/2006 by Michael from Blindenmarkt, Austria Rating:
this record is great. the first version of the routes we wander is better for sure but the second one is still good. my fav. songs are blackout, the angry..., unicorn odyssey and building the perfect asshole parade. yo
