I love the Bouncing Souls. They are a REAL punk rock band. I have every album they've released, and finally got this one. There's nothing special on here. I like the Simple Minds cover, as well as the Misfits cover. You can hear versions of songs like Lamar Vanoy and ECFU on other releases. This one is for the true fan.

9/23/2006 by Jerry from Palatine, IL Rating:
Hey this is a pretty neat album. Of course it's not just b-sides, there is also a decent amount of songs on here that are just alternate or live versions but hey I have no problems listening to rougher versions of some of my favorite songs.

The covers of T.S.O.L., the Misfits, and Descendents are all great. The craziest cover though is of the Simple Minds song "Don't You (Forget About Me)." It's crazy because their cover stays so true to the original version. I also enjoy their "Kids of America" cover but then again I'm always a sucker for covers.

So yeah, obviously don't start this one off as your first Bouncing Souls album, clearly wait until you get everything else and then buy this. But if you're a Bouncing Souls fan and can't find the charm in this album then I don't know what to tell you, I think it's a great "b-sides" album.

7/6/2006 by Connor from Cary, NC Rating:
meh, nothing special. Its just b sides, although i would expect more from an amazing band like the souls. Only get it if you wanna complete yer souls collection like i did

1/30/2005 by Jonathan from Sheridan, WY Rating:
hmmm... The best thing I can say here is that is one of the most aptly titled albums I have ever heard. All this album has is crappy versions of songs from their other albums, crappy live stuff, and other crappy songs. I really, really like the Bouncing Souls and would say that you should only buy this album if you have all their other stuff and want to complete your collection.

8/18/2003 by Kent from Sumner, MI Rating:
This is a really good cd. But like the others said, its not a very good cd for those just starting to listen to them.

9/13/2002 by Matt from Groton, CT Rating:
anyone who didnt get a boner waiting for this album to arrive is a fucking brain injured retard and should be eviscerated with the rest of the beef cattle. with all the prefabricated mindless horseshit that seems to be the popular medium nowadays its a breath of fresh air to have a band like the souls to keep it real. i looked on the best selling list and saw rufio was the #1 seller of all time for interpunk. how do people actually find differences in these morose, no brain, crybaby loved her and lost her ballads of depression bands? its like a formula to keep teens listening to shit they think they can identify with but have absolutely no idea about. these kids have no clue that someday theyll wish they were listening to bands like the souls instead of being my bitch as i shove a glass bottle up their ass and smash it with a hammer.

Chris Gladstone U.S.

This Cd Rocks, it has a little more early BS sounds like Meniacal Laughter which is cool because its different. It like doesn't flow or have any rythm and the song lyrics don't make much sense and it sounds like a low budget recording but that is what's great about, i'm tired to listening to Blink 182 crap that is stupid commercial punk, this is great straight out punk. This is defintley one of their better Cds, get it!

1/11/2002 by Nancy from Los Angeles, CA Rating:
FIRST OF ALL, THE BOUNCING SOULS IS THE GREATEST BAND EVER, NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT, BUT THIS CD WILL TOTALLY SUCK IF ITS YOUR FIRST TIME LISTENING TO THEM, THE TITLE JUST SAYS IT ITSELF. ALTHOUGH IF YOU ARE A BIG TIME BOUNCING SOULS FAN, YOU'LL REALLY LIKE THIS CD BECAUSE ITS LIKE LISTENING TO THEM BEING BORN, IT SOUNDS CRAPPY BUT IF YOU REALLY LIKE THEM, YOU WONT MIND WASTING YOUR MONEY AND LISTENING TO IT. IF THEY ARE NEW TO YOU, I SUGGEST YOU BUY THEIR SELF-TITLED ALBUM OR MANIACAL LAUGHTER, THOSE ARE KICK ASS.

1/10/2002 by Bill from Chicago, IL Rating:
First off, if your even just a casual Bouncing Souls fan, get "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" i was just a casual fan till i got that album, now i'm hooked... so get that first, cuz you wont be able to really appreciate this to its fullest until your a die-hard fan. there's some demos on here from as far back as 1989, and they sound like crap, but its great. there's out of print stuff (hence the name, dumbass), and lots of alternate versions of songs that were already on LPs. everything on here is great, except for maybe "Kids in America"... get HISMSV first, then pick up the rest of the Soul's disco, then get this...

Top tracks : mommy, can i go out and kill tonight? code blue, i started drinking again, Punk Uprisings theme, and like a fish in water

12/8/2001 by Will from Coto De Caza, CA Rating:
Thid cd definetly sucks, i thought it would be good like most old stuff is, otherwise they wouldn't put it out. they are a good band so get anything but this. biggest waste ever, only two okay songs.
