Hey poop-dripper, in case you haven't noticed Oi is hot, really fucking hot as a matter of fact, and there is no hotter hotbed of happening hooligan howl than the city of Boston and its legendary Oi champs the BRUISERS (AL BARR from the DROPKICK MURPHYS original beatdown). An eighteen-song collection of some of the hardest hitting cuts ever set to plastic featuring two of the band's most vital outpourings-Still Standing Still and Up In Flames collected on CD for the first time. Anthemic, rotten and foul.

Bruiser's are awesome Jeff Morris,Al Barr great album here.I had heard of the bruiser's for many years going to school with the bassiest (scott). So glad they still have cd's out there i can get my hands on they rock..These guys are true stars and great musicians very under rated and unheard of....

3/1/2007 by Josh from Wilmington, DE Rating:
This is a really good album. If you like "The Gangs All Here" from Dropkick Murphys, you should check this album out.

11/16/2004 by Roy from Camarillo, CA Rating:
What can I say about one of the best American Oi bands of all times. It has three of their recordings on one cd,but make sure to get their early work so you can hear all the classics.

8/12/2004 by Beth from Chandler, AZ Rating:
AWESOME SO MUCH BETTER THAN THEH DROPKICK MURPHYS. BUT DROPKICK IS STILL ONE OF THE BEST BANDS AROUND . IF YOU LIKE DKM OR THE BRUISERS CHECK OUT STREET DOGS NOW.

11/29/2003 by Mark from Gloversville, NY Rating:
The origins of Al Barr (now in Dropkick Murphys) are clear on this labum. The influence of Oi comes kicking out hard in the lyrics and the blazing hot rockibily influenced guitar rifss come flying by like a souped up Coupe DeVille. I like Al as Dropkick frontman, but this is his real stuff. This bruisers album above all others. It's clear why great bands like Blood for Blood cover Bruisers (Bloodshed on Outlaw Anthems). The Bruisers are definately one of Bostons finest and will continueto live on in legend status.

10/23/2003 by Seth from Slate Hill, NY Rating:
Good Boston Oi/hardcore punk.Al Barr is the shit. He's no Mike McColgan, but he still kicks ass.Great riffs on this cd also.Best songs are Still Standing Up and Ode To Johnny.
