| Dropkick Murphys/Business - Mob Mentality Split |
England's Oi-toy grandfathers THE BUSINESS take on Boston's boot-boy best THE DROPKICK MURPHYS in an all-day booze-a-thon of tradition-passing brotherly love. The DMs begin the romp with versions of two classic Business cuts, plus a cover of The Who's "Kids Are Alright," a cut by the Outlets, and a reworked version of their classic "Boys On The Docks" (with current vocalist AL BARR on the mic). The Business retaliate with a version of the Faces' "Borstal Boys" (featuring backing vox by DICKY BARRETT of the MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES), a Slapshot cover, and two Dropkick Murphys songs. Then both bands team together as McBUSINESS for a spirited run at the title track. Originally released as a split 7-inch with the title (alternate version) and one track by each.

| Although I've had this album burned for years, I finally decided it was time to actually get it. It's a very good album, with great covers by Dropkick & The Business. I like Dropkick's cover of "Informer" & the Business cover of "Hang Up Your Boots." Oh yeah, & Carl reviewing the cd & trying to say that Dropkick is nationalist & has a fascist following, WTF? Don't pay attention to that part of his review. Anyway, a good cd to add to your Dropkick collection. |

| This CD was good. I liked the Business' take on DKM songs. They gave them an older feel that I liked. The Dropkick Murphys' half was good too. I would have liked to hear some pipes but sadly there weren't any. The Business songs they covered are on albums I don't have, so I can't really compare. Overall, a worthy buy |

| Business - Good stuff from the Business, but not their best. Their best song was their cover of 'Going Strong,' originally by the Dropkicks. Most of their other songs were pretty good, although there were a couple of bad ones.
Dropkick Murphys - Also good, but not the best from these guys either. They are probably a little bit better than the Business on this cd. The songs sound more like the ones off 'The Gangs All Here' than some of their more recent stuff. It's all pretty hardcore and not much folk stuff.
Bottom line. If you've never heard anything from one of these bands, get something else from them first. If you are familiar with both bands, you won't be disappointed. |

| I wasnt that familiar with the buisness when i got this, but now i realize that i'm going to have to pick up some things from them in the future. the dropkick side is great, as expected. Boys on the Docks could very well be the best version of this great song. for anyone who says Dropkick are nothing without Mike McColgan, shove a stick up your ass and quit living in the past. Al is a great singer (pointless info: Al is wearing an H2O shirt in the insert)

| If you are a DKM or Business fan, buy this cd. This cd has some great songs on it, along with excellent covers. One of my favorite covers is, The Who's "The Kids Are Alright" by the Dropkicks. On the song "Mob Mentality" the two bands pair up and put out an amazing song, these two songs alone should make you want this cd! |

| I like the irish bar music sound of dropkick murphys but i hate the nationalist bullshit in their music. DKM has a huge facist following so I would never be a big fan of DKM but the music is ok, Nothing special. If you like the Business get a diffent CD cause dropkick ruins the CD. RESISTANCE IS NEVER FUTILE!!! |

| Hmmmm, its not tooo bad. It definately tops the shittiest album yet, Sing Loud Sing Proud which I feel ashamed for having wasted my money on. If you like the business get it, if you are a die hard DKM fan, get it. It wont get played to death but its a decent cd. |
