Osker

Treatment 5

Epitaph 86548

OSKER is a great new snotty punk band who combine hard edged melodies with catchy hooks. Fans of NOFX, Bouncing Souls, and early Rancid and Green Day will love Osker. Treatment 5 boasts eighteen songs, any of which could become classics. Osker will be on tour with Millencolin and Ten Foot Pole throughout March and April.

This album is amazing. Straight ahead and fast. Devon's voice rules and the lyrics make you think about all the people you hate.

It is most excellent. Nothing like a little self loathing to brighten up your day. :) Give it a shot there are a few really good songs on there.

This is a pretty good cd. Great bass work and some ok guitar. It's kind of a typical teen-angst ridden punk sound. This is better than the second album by the band.

this cd was exactly what i expected.... good fast snotty skate punk..... too bad these guys got a little too deep with their lyrics and songwriting after this cd cuz idle will kill was good but not nearly as good as this cd.

This CD is the shit. Its bands like Osker that remind me that the term "pop-punk" isn't always a bad thing. Osker reminds me of a much faster old-school Green Day. The singer has a pretty deep voice for a guy who was only 15 when this was recorded...it's pretty sad when your voice is deeper than singers much older than you (cough, simple plan) and that makes this much more enjoyable. The one thing I wasn't too crazy for was the whole "life sucks" approach to the lyrics, but the songs were so damn catchy that doesn't even matter. My favorites are "I Cannot", "Ballad Of A Traitor", and "Panic".

Since punk-o-rama 3 came out I have loved the song Alright by these guys, but I have never owned an album by them until about a week ago. You would ask yourself why? Well God only knows. Now I own both of their albums and it’s hard to decide which one to put in. Treatment 5 is a must have to any punk collection.

This CD is very good. It sounds like Green Day 10 years before the American Idiot era, which I am ashamed to admit I prefer very much. I think anyone should get this CD because it kicks ass! Then again you could get the new Good Charlotte...
