This CD is much better than I remember it from my teenage years. Perhaps I had to grow into this era of Black Flag but when I through this in my CD player it kicked my six ways from Sunday. I used to thing the Rollins era was their weakest period but now I find it some of the most fulfilling shit ever. This is a damn strong release. Captures the band live better that any other release in my opinion.

I've had the vinyl of this for years so it's was great to get extra tracks on the CD copy. This is the sound of one crushing live band. The Rhythm section is in blazing form not to mention the brilliance of Greg Ginn. Really good live sound the vocals aren't to high in the mix. As Rollins says on a song intro to Slip it in "you must it admit this feels mighty good". Great live document.

Well I wish I could compare this to the Live '84 but I don't own it due to the fact that everyone says it's a pretty bad live album. What I can tell you about Who's Got the 10 1/2? though is that this is a really great sounding live album. All the members sound full of energy and proceed to unleash it all. I guess what makes this album a mixed bag for some is that it's so heavy on the older material. In fact, 8 out of the 9 tracks from Loose Nut are on here. It's a good thing that Loose Nut was such a strong later era Black Flag album. What songs are left are 2 tracks from In My Head, 1 from My War, 1 from Slip It In, 2 pre-Rollins era tracks, and a Jam along with Gimme Gimme Gimme being mixed into Slip It In. So in conclusion, if you really enjoy the album Loose Nut or every era of Black Flag in general then you should have no problem with this live album, but you obviously shouldn't expect this live album to be a comprehensive look at their entire discography.

This a great live album! The CD sounds great, and the band is filled with energy! If your a Black Flag fan get this! Then you'll know who has the 10 1/2!

Black Flag right before the big breakup, and they sound as furious as ever. An awesome introduction to the later stuff. Wicked version of Slip it In.
