A reissue of the shit-talking 1983 My America album from early Boston hardcore heavyweights the F.U.S. Eleven rageful tracks that turned their vitriol back against the scene, including their cover of "American Band."

this is a very good album. it is hardcore punk and a little hard to understand. but hey that is what lryic sheets are for if you like the harsher side of punk this is a good cd to pick up when you want something new to listen to.

4/11/2007 by Filippo from Montreal, PQ Canada Rating:
The F.U.'s are one of my favorite Fast Hardcore bands ever, if you like the ultra fast sound of hardcore, then purchase the first two LP's released (Kill For Christ + My America).

5/16/2005 by Matthew from Bridgend, United Kingdom Rating:
Musically this hits you straight away as a 80's hardcore release from Boston sounding similar to SSD,DYS,Negative fx etc. The lyrics proved to be very controversial at the time (mainly with Tim Yo and maximum rock n roll) but hey isnt the magic of punk about expressing different viewpoints and listening to others with an open mind???? No, oh shit I'll get my coat!!!!!!!!!

9/3/2004 by Teresa from Brooklyn, NY Rating:
this cd was ok i guess if your looking for a good f.u.'s cd buy kill for christ, this cd is an untouchable compared to kill for christ

4/28/2004 by Jacopo from Roma, Italy Rating:
This is F.U.'s second LP, released by X-Claim! Records in 1983, finally available on CD. Like their first effort "Kill for Christ", this is typical early 80s Boston hardcore, although not as angry as fellow scenesters SSD or DYS. At the time of its original release, this record sparked a harsh controversy with MRR because of the band's patriotism, but today we have the opportunity to leave this useless quarrel behind and focus on the great hardcore-punk served by these Bostonians. Recommended for old farts and young bandana thrashers alike!
