"THE CODE are the East Coast's most popular underground punk band!" raves ANTI-FLAG'S Chris #2. He would know after spending 3 weeks on tour with them in late 2001. Even before releasing a proper recording of their music, THE CODE, who describe themselves as "a straight ahead punk band with an OPERATION IVY-esque twist", are capable of packing hundreds of kids into east-coast basements, fire halls, and clubs simply as a result of word of mouth. Their popularity can be traced back to inspiring live shows and an obvious love of the punk underground, which have made THE CODE punk's newest "buzz band".

this is an amazing album. good hardcore punk with some awesome ska. buy it if you want some really good catchy punk and ska. lots of songs have pauses, which makes any song good. buy it!

10/25/2005 by Chris from Alexandria, ON Canada Rating:
What to say about these guys and this cd nothing new its been done i guess there in the same vein as the suicide machines but not as good.

6/18/2005 by Cort from Newton, NJ Rating:
its nothing spectacular. its not bad either. i was just expecting more ska. i like their newer stuff because it has alot more ska on it. maybe they are playing more ska now. i really liked 40 hour work week and riot. it sounds like they are trying too hard to be anti-flag if they went to jamaica. again their new stuff is better.

1/31/2005 by Sebastian from Stuttgart, Germany Rating:
this is a good cd, i like their style. the reason i gave 4 stars is because some tracks on this cd are so extremly annoying, this cd is more a 3,5. especially the last tracks of this cd get worse and worse and it destroys the cd a bit. but there are also very good songs on it.the best songs in my opinion are 40 hour week and riot. i guess people who listen to anti flag, against all authority, leftover crack will like this cd.

1/8/2005 by Neal from Battle Creek, MI Rating:
the code is a great band. the best songs are riot,a.a.i,john doe, and 40 hour week. its one of the best punk/ska bands out there. for fans of anti flag, suicide machines, and operation ivy. but if you are not even a fan of ska im sure you will like.

10/26/2004 by Joel from St-jerome, PQ Canada Rating:
This CD was EXACTLY what I was expecting it to be. Great PunkRock with Ska riffs, great vocals, nice melodies.

A must.

10/7/2004 by Joey from Riverview, NB Canada Rating:
"ALERT AWARE INVOLVED" is a reallt great album, to be honest the only reason I bought it was becasue of the song that was placed on the AF RECORDS COMP # 1. Anyway I would deffinitly recomend this album for the fans of ANTI-FLAG, OP IVY, or any other kick ass ska / punk band.

SKANK ON!

7/6/2004 by Benn from Vaughn, WA Rating:
This is punk rock. Nothing gets much better than this. Alert, Aware, Involved is the anthem of our dying day. Great tracks and a great debut album from a band off the AF record label. Fans of Anti-Flag, Suicide Machines, Whatever it Takes, Pipedown, Virus Nine will all love this CD.

6/29/2004 by Amanda from Meridian, ID Rating:
what a great CD! these guys blend ska riffs and punk pefectly. i recommend this to fans of AAA and Op Ivy, just as others have said. and i also suggest seing them live.. its just awesomeness..

6/19/2004 by Margie from Calexico, CA Rating:
dante, calexico,ca all i have to say that it wasn't that great but some sons were great but it's not really worth buying.i would say first listen to their songs from the samplers from a-f records.
